Business process modeling

We always recommend conducting business process modeling and planning of business process changes. If you decide to introduce EDI at your customers’ request, it is worth revising what effects the usage of EDI will have on the processes of your business: how will the automated, mechanical order receipt, the sending of bills of delivery and invoices influence the daily duties of those employees, who are involved in these. In such cases it is advisable to examine the potential affects more in depth: in what other processes could EDI be used? The preparation of future strategic plans regarding further utilization of EDI is also recommended.

If you decide to introduce EDI for optimizing business processes, we recommend the preparation of a complex strategic plan. This can serve as the basis for implementation of the system and the partner integration rollout.

Selecting the technology, solution

The first step in technical realization is the selection of proper solution scaled according to business processes, partner circles and technical backgrounds. This solution may basically take one of the below forms:

➡    A non-integrated (or partially integrated solution: WebEDI solution
